The partnership between NorArar Education NGO and the Republican Pedagogical and Psychological Center (RPPC) began with a knowledge exchange event at the RPPC, where common insights on reading development issues and solutions were consolidated. The event addressed the planning and implementation characteristics of targeted interventions for students with special educational needs and reading difficulties.
Subsequently, training sessions were held in Vanadzor and Alaverdi, involving teachers, teacher assistants, and specialists from the Vanadzor and Alaverdi RPPCs, Lernapat Secondary School, Vanadzor No. 21 Basic School, and Alaverdi No. 12 School.
During the training, participants were introduced to Program-Based Assessments and Precision Teaching methods, along with a range of related techniques and strategies that can be used to improve reading skills among students with special educational needs and reading difficulties.
